'''Classical pieces that were written with microtones''' <br />
Notable examples from 20th century classical music that briefly use the 7th harmonic, and for the Britten piece, the 11th harmonic as well:
* Ralph Vaughan Williams's [[wikipedia:A_Pastoral_Symphony|Symphony No. 3, A Pastoral Symphony]] from 1922, two horn solos in the 2nd movement
* Benjamin Britten's [[wikipedia:Serenade_for_Tenor,_Horn_and_Strings|Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings]] from 1943, prologue and epilogue

Curated playlist with examples for many different genres

Classical pieces that were written with microtones
Notable examples from 20th century classical music that briefly use the 7th harmonic, and for the Britten piece, the 11th harmonic as well:

Non-microtonal classical pieces translated to microtonal tunings
For a list of pieces that were originally written in a non-xenharmonic context, and then translated into a xenharmonic tuning, see Familiar melodies in unfamiliar tunings. (Stephen Weigel's YouTube channel, Mike Battaglia's SoundCloud, and H. Wakabayashi's YouTube channel have great examples of these).

What follows for the rest of this page is a large alphabetical list of as many xenharmonic artists and pieces as the wiki editors could find. It is not filtered or curated by quality, genre, or any other criteria. Feel free to add to it:
