It seems the proposal for making the temperament pages more accessible has failed. To the extent possible, we should try not to obligate newcomers to learn ''Regular Temperament Theory'' ([[RTT]]) at all, so we should be especially careful to ensure that RTT aspects of tunings are presented in a more modular fashion, cleanly separated from parts intended for a general audience. It is also important to ensure that temperaments are not overemphasized in proportion to the extent they are actually used, so that newcomers will have an accurate understanding of how important RTT actually is before deciding whether to invest a lot of time to learn it.
