:::: Sorry for the late reply, but to answer your question, one thing you could do is start with three simple ratios and find the averiantal percentage of the middle ratio relative to the two outer ratios, which you can then use to derive the comma. As an example, I could calculate the (1/1 - 5/4)averiantal percentage of 8/7, which is 3/5.
