::: I should also mention one final thing- the reason why the "i" in the original shortened form "Mixic" was changed to "y" to make "Myxic" is so that we don't confuse "Myxic" with something pertaining to mixing or mixtures. Therfore, in order to avoid multiple levels of confusion in combining forms "Mixolydian" has the shortened form "Myxian" for usage as a base combining form.
