Nutrismic chords are essentially tempered chords tempered by the nutrisma, 343/342.

There are three triads, five tetrads and one pentad as 2.3.7.19 subgroup 19-odd-limit essentially tempered chords.

For triads, there are one palindromic chord and a pair of chords in inverse relationship. The palindromic chord is

  • 1-7/6-19/14 chord with steps of 7/6-7/6-19/14.

The inversely related pair of chords is

  • 1-9/7-7/4 with steps of 9/7-19/14-8/7 and its inverse 1-8/7-14/9 with steps of 8/7-19/14-9/7.

For tetrads, there are three palindromic chords and a pair of chords in inverse relationship. The palindromic chords are

  • 1-8/7-19/14-14/9 chord with steps of 8/7-19/16-8/7-9/7;
  • 1-9/8-9/7-7/4 chord with steps of 9/8-8/7-19/14-8/7;
  • 1-7/6-19/14-19/12 chord with steps of 7/6-7/6-7/6-24/19.

The inversely related pair of chords is

  • 1-9/7-3/2-7/4 with steps of 9/7-7/6-7/6-8/7 and its inverse 1-8/7-4/3-14/9 with steps of 8/7-7/6-7/6-9/7.

Finally there is a palindromic pentad,

  • 1-9/8-9/7-3/2-7/4 with steps of 9/8-8/7-7/6-7/6-8/7.

Equal temperaments with nutrismic chords include 5, 9, 14, 27, 31, 36, 41, 63, 77, 99, 104, 113 and 118.
