Baladismic chords are essentially tempered chords tempered by the baladisma, 4914/4913.

There are two triads and three tetrads as 2.3.7.13.17 subgroup 21-odd-limit essentially tempered chords.

The two baladismic triads are in inverse relationship:

  • 1-21/17-17/13 with steps of 21/17-18/17-26/17, and its inverse
  • 1-18/17-17/13 with steps of 18/17-21/17-26/17.

They can be extended to following palindromic tetrads:

  • 1-21/17-17/13-21/13 with steps of 21/17-18/17-21/17-26/21;
  • 1-18/17-17/13-18/13 with steps of 18/17-21/17-18/17-13/9;
  • 1-18/17-21/17-17/13 with steps of 18/17-7/6-18/17-26/17.

Equal temperaments with baladismic chords include 36, 46, 171, 207, 217, 243, 253, 328, 364, 400, 535, 571, 607, 935, 971, 1142 and 1178.
