Bixby is an exotemperament that tempers out 4/3, setting the perfect fifth equal to the octave. This temperament is clearly not meant for melodic or harmonic use, and is far less accurate than more common archetypal exotemperaments like dicot, doing something with such high damage as to eradicate prime 3 from the system. It can be represented by only 1edo in its patent val. The practical uses of this temperament are as of yet unknown.
It is the first comptonesque temperament; equivalently, it is the first circular temperament of 3. It is also the first temperament of a square particular comma.
