Seesaw is an exotemperament that tempers out 6/5, the classic minor third, setting the perfect fifth (3/2) equal to the classic major third (5/4). This temperament is clearly not meant for melodic or harmonic use, and is far less accurate than more common archetypal exotemperaments like dicot, doing something with such high damage as to make primes 3 and 5 the same interval when octave reduced. It could, however, serve as a structural archetype to measure the otonality/utonality of an interval, with intervals mapped to more positive generator steps being more otonal, and intervals mapped to more negative generator steps being more utonal. It can be represented by only 2edo in its patent val.
