Hi Hans,

Wouldn't it be better to turn the redirection, i.e. HansStraubHans Straub? --Xenwolf (talk) 11:25, 2 October 2018 (UTC)

HansStraub was just the only page with content, as imported. It would probably make most sense to have the content in User:hstraub and remove the other pages altogether. Hstraub (talk) 13:48, 2 October 2018 (UTC)

Dictionary of users by languages

Hello Hans, Please have a look on "Xenharmonic Wiki talk:What languages do various users know?". What is your opinion? --Xenwolf (talk) 22:04, 16 October 2018 (UTC)

Great :) I read somewhere that French and Italian belongs to your skills, is that true? --Xenwolf (talk) 21:21, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
Yes, I would say French with level 3 and Italian with level 2. When xenwikis in these languages are added, I can help, of course. Hstraub (talk) 11:00, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

Reduce comma tables on EDO pages

Please have a look at Xenharmonic Wiki: Things to do #Comma tables in EDO_pages. Thanks --Xenwolf (talk) 09:09, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

User categories

Hi Hans, I think it would be fitting to move the wiki user-related categories that are on the page Hans Straub to your user page (User:Hstraub). You could still keep your user page as a redirect page if you prefer it that way, although I like to think of the user page as a space where you can add anything you want, while the main namespace page can be presented in a more encyclopedic way (e.g. compare Sevish and User:Sevish). I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to make the change myself, so I thought I'd ask. --Fredg999 (talk) 23:15, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

Hi Frédéric, sorry I saw your post only now. Yes, no problem, this can be changed. If I find the time, I'll do it myself in the next days. --Hstraub (talk) 21:51, 4 November 2022 (UTC)

History of 159edo

Hey! I've been digging through the record of changes to the 159edo article, and it seems you were the person who created the article in the first place, do you know who first discovered this system? I notice that your original entry makes reference to Ozan Yarman. I'd like to talk with you about it. --Aura (talk) 09:56, 6 October 2022 (UTC)

Hi Aura, yes, AFAIK it was indeed Ozan Yarman who first worked in depth with 159edo. He used it to develop a tuning system for Turkish Makam music. His Ph. D. dissertation describes his system in detail, you can download it from the The_Library page on this wiki. --Hstraub (talk) 21:46, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
