Nicepent is a 5-note scale with the step signature 2L 1M 2s. It is also chiral, which means that there are two distinct variations of the scale, left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH). The name was suggested by Fitzgerald Lee as it is the pentatonic predecessor to nicetone (3L 2M 2s). The first edo that supports it is 10edo.
Nicepent can also be tuned as a 5-limit JI scale where L = 6/5, M = 9/8 and s = 10/9.
