Sensi/Chords: Difference between revisions

Below are listed the [[15-odd-limit]] [[dyadic chord]]s of 13-limit [[sensus temperament]], subject to the condition that no interval smaller than [[12/11]], at 150 cents, appears. The essentially just chords are typed as [[otonal]], [[utonal]], or [[ambitonal]]. Those requiring tempering only by [[126/125]] are catalogued as [[Starling chords|starling]], by [[245/243]] [[Sensamagic chords|sensamagic]], by [[176/175]] [[Valinorsmic chords|valinorsmic]], by [[441/440]] [[Werckismic chords|werckismic]], by [[1232/1215]] sensmic, by [[91/90]] superleap, by [[196/195]] [[Mynucumic chords|mynucumic]], by [[325/324]] [[Marveltwin triad|marveltwin]], and by [[352/351]] [[Minthmic chords|minthmic]]. [[Rank and codimension|Codimension]] two temperaments are labeled [[thrush]] or [[shrusus]], or according to two commas tempered out: starling-superleap, valinorsmic-superleap, sensamagic-mynucumic, werckismic-superleap, mynucumic-minthmic, senga-superleap, superleap-minthmic, or marveltwin-minthmic. Rank three temperaments are labeled [[tridecimal thrush]], [[shrusic]], [[sensigh]], [[treecreeper]] or [[veery]]. Finally, if the full sensus temperament is required, the chord is labeled sensus.

Sensus has MOS of size 5, 8, 11, 19, 27 and 46. The largest chords on these lists have complexity 31, and so would require the 46 note MOS, but there are many chords of much lower complexity. The 8-note MOS has a number of chords, the 11-note MOS has a considerable store, and of course the 19-note MOS many more.
