This is a proposed systematic extension for the TAMNAMS MOS scale naming system based on parent / grand parent relationships. It's intended for a user interface so that every MOS pattern has a memorable name. The main table in the wiki can represent a curated list of good scales for newcomers and these are just a bonus.

(Grand) Daughter MOS naming system

Daughter MOS scale names are derived from the parent MOS's soft version as (prefix)mechromic (short for meantone-analogue chromatic) and the hard version as (prefix)pechromic ((super)pyth-analogue chromatic).

Grand daughter MOS scale names are derived from the grand parent MOS's supersoft, semisoft, semihard and superhard versions and denoted (prefix)fenharmic (flattone analogue enhramonic), (prefix)menharmic (meantone analogue), (prefix)penharmic (pythagorean analogue), (prefix)senharmic (sharp superpyth analogue).
