From Xenharmonic Wiki

This is a proposed extension for the TAMNAMS MOS scale naming system. It's intended for a user interface so that every MOS pattern has a memorable name. The main table in the wiki can represent a curated list of good scales for newcomers and these are just a bonus.

(Grand) Daughter MOS naming system

Daughter MOS scale names are derived from the parent MOS's soft version as m-prefixchromic (short for chromatic) and the hard version as p-prefixchromic.

Grand daughter MOS scale names are derived from the grand parent MOS's supersoft, semisoft, semihard and superhard versions and denoted with letters f-, m-, p- and s- respectively plus prefixenharmic (short for enharmonic).
