2025/2024, the fokkerisma is a 23-limit superparticular comma of 0.8551 cents. It forms the difference between 45/44 and 46/45. By tempering it out is defined the fokkerismic temperament, which enables the fokkerismic chords.

Etymology

The name fokkerisma was named by Xenllium, after Adriaan Daniël Fokker, a Dutch physicist and musician. Fokker led a revival of interest in 31-tone equal temperament (31EDO), and invented the Fokker organ, a 31-tone equal-tempered organ. Rational intervals 45/44 and 46/45 were mapped to 1/31 of an octave (38.71¢, halfway between both ratios) in some EDOs of the 31n-EDO family (such as 31EDO and 217EDO). Not to be confused with Fokker's comma (2109375/2097152, 10.06¢).
