Diatonic
The standard mapping of 12edo onto the Lumatone agrees with the Standard Lumatone mapping for Pythagorean. Octaves are perfectly horizontal, and the range is just under five octaves. Note that each pitch is repeated four or five times, which enables division of this layout into four full-compass manuals, with several extra keys for other uses (percussion, controllers, etc.). This is "Preset 1 — 12-ET / 4 Manuals" in version 1.0 of the official Lumatone manual, and "Preset 1 — Classic Mode" in version 1.21; a version with differently colored keys for the different MIDI channels with an example of instrument mappings thereof is "Preset 3 — 12-ET / Multi-Manual" in version 1.0, and "Preset 4 — Multi-Instrumental Mode" in version 1.21.

Wicki-Hayden
A different way to map 12edo is the Wicki-Hayden layout which has a whole tone scale in each (slanted) horizontal row, with fifths ascending vertically and slightly right, and octaves ascending vertically and slightly left (and fourths ascending vertically and moderately left). This is "Preset 2 — Melodic Mode" in version 1.21 of the manual (this layout does not appear in version 1.0). Note that instead of starting on the left edge with C, this layout starts with C♯ in the bottom edge just short of the right corner, and puts F on the left edge.

Yet another way to map 12edo is the "Harmonic Table" which puts the notes of triads next to each other. Octaves are no longer horizontal, which interferes with division into multiple manuals; but in exchange, the range is over ten octaves. (Since this exceeds most peoples' hearing range, a good use of this would be to divide the layout into zones for different instruments.) This is "Preset 2 — 12-ET / Harmonic Table" in version 1.0 of the manual, and "Preset 3 — Harmonic Mode" in version 1.21.
