The standard mapping of 12edo onto the Lumatone agrees with the Standard Lumatone mapping for Pythagorean. Octaves are perfectly horizontal, and the range is just under five octaves. Note that each pitch is repeated four or five times, which enables division of this layout into four full-compass manuals, with several extra keys for other uses (percussion, controllers, etc.). This is "Preset 1 — 12-ET / 4 Manuals" in the official Lumatone manual.

A different way to map 12edo is the "Harmonic Table" which puts the notes of triads next to each other. Octaves are no longer horizontal, which interferes with division into multiple manuals; but in exchange, the range is over ten octaves. This is "Preset 2 — 12-ET / Harmonic Table" in the manual.
