:: None of Interval, Ratio, or Interval ratio should be added. (1) The page can be about a comma (not an "interval"). (2) The page title can be a name (not a ratio). ::: @FloraC: right! Good that you mentioned the commas! Maybe some sort of
category
then? - or will that be to confusing? --Xenwolf (talk) 18:33, 7 November 2020 (UTC) |

Parameter name normalization
it's better to have unique parameter names, so the alternative forms given earlier are now revoked. Pages that make use of them are automatically collected in Category:Todo:normalize interval parameters and should be adjusted from time to time. --Xenwolf (talk) 12:11, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
Auto-applying a category?
Should this template also insert e. g.
into page text, is it a good idea? --Arseniiv (talk) 17:02, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, in principle, but I'm not clear what the best category (or categories) should be. We have so far mostly: Interval, Interval ratio, Ratio, I also think that the prime limit could (better: should) be added to the parameters: it's applicable in every case and never goes beyond the limits (as monzos do sometimes see 71-limit). --Xenwolf (talk) 18:15, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
