There's a difference between "edge case" novelties (e.g. [[1/0]]) and "arbitrary extension" novelties: edge cases are few, and a significant number of people will probably end up wondering about them at some point, while arbitrary extensions are many and often do not provide any meaningful musical insight. I think keeping super-pitch on the main namespace causes more confusion than it helps people.
