The yggdrasilsma is a 13-limit comma, the difference between 2080/2079 and 2401/2400, or alternatively, the difference between a stack of 13/11 and an aberschisma, and 32/27 and a 2401/2400.

It is also the product of the harmonisma and the ragnaroksma.

Temperaments

It is tempered out in freyr and its temperaments, such as newt, hemififths, and a complex Hemiwuerschmidt extension (99ef & 229). Tempering alone in the 13-limit leads to the rank-5 yggdrasil temperament, and tempering it alongside the harmonisma leads to rank-4 alfheim.

Etymology

The comma was named by Flora Canou in 2026, after the world tree in Norse mythology, Yggdrasil.
