Ups and a-downs notation

Hi Gareth,
is ^31, v3m2 just a shortcut for ^^^1 and vvvm2 ? Can this maybe also be written as ↑↑↑1 ↓↓↓m2 ? Would a template help? The wikitext (^<span style="font-size: 90%; vertical-align: super;">3</span>1, v<span style="font-size: 90%; vertical-align: super;">3</span>m2) looks rather complicated and confusing to most people.
I know you used the "visual editor". But the wiki markup it creates for you is sometimes overly complicated.

Hi Xenwolf. I copied and pasted that column directly from the 72edo page. It's Kite's work, so though I'm confident it is a shortcut for ^^^1 and vvvm2 you'd have to ask him about any changes.
Update: Either it got fixed on changed on the 72edo page or something was weird last time. But I've copied and pasted it over again and it should have fixed the problem I think. --Gareth.hearne (talk) 16:56, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
Yes, I talked about the 72edo-interval names page. It seem worse this time: the subscript text is bigger than normal text. Maybe you try the source code editor (not "VisualEdit") on it next. But this is currently not so important. --Xenwolf (talk) 18:00, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
Oh that's a shame. If definitely looks worse on the main page but I was hoping the source was better. I'll just change it to ^^^ and vvv. --Gareth.hearne (talk) 18:02, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
Better now :) What do you (personally) think about making the v chars subscript (vvvm2)? --Xenwolf (talk) 18:21, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
Oh that would be cool!--Gareth.hearne (talk) 04:57, 2 October 2018 (UTC)

My named notation is complete!

Your user page

Hi again Gareth,
Your user page still doesn't exist. I understand that you may be not interested to tell to much about you. You may as well start your page empty, after that, you'll see a little more information on subpages: a navigation for super page(s). Another maybe helpful idea would be to embed an overview of subpages on your user page which can by done just by placing {{Special:PrefixIndex/{{FULLPAGENAME}}/}} on it. I hope this is of any help for you. Best --Xenwolf (talk) 13:14, 12 October 2018 (UTC)

Oh sorry, I meant a verbatim copy. --Xenwolf (talk) 15:04, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
Here is more about the special function. --Xenwolf (talk) 15:05, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
Yeah I was like 'huh, that's just the whole page??'--Gareth.hearne (talk) 15:07, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
Normally the double braces indicate the use of templates and this causes the inclusion of its content (but this can be done with normal pages). Variables like {{FULLPAGENAME}} do different things. --Xenwolf (talk) 15:11, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
