Why?

There are many possible perspectives on this, but the first thing that comes to my mind is to make a sort of well-temperament, with a nearly equalized step ratio, ending up mostly emulating 19edo but with slightly larger steps in two places, giving room for fine-tuning around 19edo. Another option would be to take advantage of the minimal harmonic entropy with a generator of 7/5, which however coincides with a much steeper step ratio (> 5:1), so that might need to be used with more precaution. Obviously, the more notes you add, the least obvious it is to find an application, but it shouldn't be that hard to make significant music out of it. --Fredg999 (talk) 06:04, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
