1275/1274, the cimbrisma, is a 17-limit superparticular comma. It is the amount by which a stack consisting of two 7/5s and one 52/51 falls short of an octave. By tempering it out is defined the cimbrismic temperament, which enables the cimbrismic chords.
Etymology
The name cimbrisma was named by Xenllium in 2023. It refers to 1275 Cimbria, the asteroid. Which in turn was named after an ancient Germanic tribe.
