(Shannon, [math]\displaystyle{ \sqrt{nd} }[/math])
1001/1000, otherwise known as the fairytale comma, or the sinbadma, is an unnoticeable no-3s 13-limit comma by which a stack consisting of 7/5, 11/10, and 13/10 exceeds the octave, or equivalently stated, a stack consisting of 7/4, 11/8, and 13/8 exceeds the 125/32 classical augmented seventh. It represents the tiny interval between between the starling comma 126/125 and the grossma 144/143, between 26/25 and 80/77, and between 77/75 and 40/39.
Etymology
The name is likely a reference to One Thousand and One Nights.
