This is a proposed extension for the TAMNAMS MOS scale naming system. It's intended for a user interface so that every MOS pattern has a memorable name. The main table in the wiki can represent a curated list of good scales for newcomers and these are just a bonus.

3L 8s anticheckertonic acheck- acheck See checkertonic below.
4L 7s kleistonic klei- klei- Named after kleismic and its extensions.
5L 6s p-mechachromic Similar to p-chromatic. Derived from the hard generator of parent machinoid.
6L 5s m-mechachromic Similar to m-chromatic. Derived from the soft generator of parent machinoid.
7L 4s suprasmitonic ssmi- ssmi- Generated by (sharp) supraminor thirds.
8L 3s checkertonic check- check From Kite guitar checkerboard scale.
9L 2s balzanic bal- bal Named after the Balzano undecatonic scale for 20edo.
10L 1s secoric secor- scr Named after the generator, the secor.
12-note mosses
