Name

Wouldn't middle major second better fit to 19/17? The name septimal major second isn't already taken. --Xenwolf (talk) 10:08, 26 September 2020 (UTC)

... and the other mediant derivative of 19/17, 29/26 could claim the name "middle major second" as well. --Xenwolf (talk) 10:18, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
Septimal major second is 8/7 (it was me who added this name to the 8/7 page, but it has been on Wikipedia: Septimal whole tone, which referenced Harry Partch's book). FloraC (talk) 10:36, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
Okay, thanks you remind me of a fact I already knew but obviously forgot. Any ideas how to proceed with the naming (29/26 needs one, 29 is ventinove in Italian and viginti novem in Latin). --Xenwolf (talk) 11:47, 26 September 2020 (UTC)
