Talk:Quartismic family

I see that there are listings of no-five mappings, no-five POTE generators, and no-five EDOs that relate to quartismic temperaments... What about listings for EDOs and temperaments in the quartismic family that do make use of the 5-limit? --Aura (talk) 04:46, 8 September 2020 (UTC)

Okay, I'm sorry about deleting so much data, and making such a mess, but after finding this site, I'm trying to improve the definition of the base quartismic temperament, and I'm trying to make space for us to better define the temperaments that belong to the quartismic family. Second-guessing myself about stuff hasn't helped matters. --Aura (talk) 02:58, 11 September 2020 (UTC)

Afaik the full 11-limit family is of rank 4 and should be a separate page. The 2.3.7.11 temperament is of rank 3 and belongs here. cf. Valinorismic temperaments. For rank-3 full 11-limit children you add an additional comma and they also belong here.
@TallKite maybe you give a guide? FloraC (talk) 03:14, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
I do know that the default quartismic temperament only tempers out the quartisma, and seems to be rank-4, with the best candidate being this one.
I also know that the Altierran temperaments are defined by tempering out the schisma as well as the quartisma... --Aura (talk) 03:28, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
So far, one of the best candidates for the Altierran temperament proper is this one. (Preceding unsigned comment by Aura (talk))
Of course, there's also this temperament as pure temperament of the quartisma, but this one doesn't seem to be as accessible as the other one. --Aura (talk) 04:15, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
