: I'd say it's "Dee leap week", because now that I revisit this and think about it, Iranian calendar practice never implied the existence of leap weeks, only 1L 7s leap day cycle occasionally broken by 1L 8s or 1L 6s. Character encoding error?
Hi Eliora, I found an edit on 293edo by you that introduces a placeholder character. Would you please take another look at this? Thanks in advance. --Xenwolf (talk) 17:20, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
- I did that on purpose, as a way to propose notation when there is a large consecutive series in a monzo. If another form is required, I will gladly replace the placeholder character with something else. Eliora (talk) 20:55, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification, now I see what you mean. I think we should by all means avoid the Unicode special character which is reserved to indicate an encoding error. Using
0is much better, even if not ideal (superscript notation is unexpectedly switching from mathematical to linguistic meaning). But you are right, coping with zeros is definitely a weakness of the monzo notation.
