:: What exactly is this thing really? Is it tetration in the frequency domain or in the super-pitch domain? Or maybe an arithmetic operation in the super-pitch domain? [[User:FloraC|FloraC]] ([[User talk:FloraC|talk]]) 14:57, 12 September 2024 (UTC) | |||

Rename this thing
The name "edso" has repeatedly led ppl to think it's an equal pitch division. FloraC (talk) 17:38, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
- I also suggest moving all pages related to the concept of "super-pitch" to User:CompactStar's user space. There's a difference between "edge case" novelties (e.g. 1/0) and "arbitrary extension" novelties: edge cases are few, and a significant number of people will probably end up wondering about them at some point, while arbitrary extensions are many and often do not provide any meaningful musical insight. I think keeping super-pitch on the main namespace causes more confusion than it helps people. Of course, the name doesn't help either, and I support the idea to change it. --Fredg999 (talk) 20:59, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
