Character encoding error?

I did that on purpose, as a way to propose notation when there is a large consecutive series in a monzo. If another form is required, I will gladly replace the placeholder character with something else. Eliora (talk) 20:55, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the clarification, now I see what you mean. I think we should by all means avoid the Unicode special character which is reserved to indicate an encoding error. Using 0 is much better, even if not ideal (superscript notation is unexpectedly switching from mathematical to linguistic meaning). But you are right, coping with zeros is definitely a weakness of the monzo notation.
BTW: didn't you mean [1590 012 293⟩ (alias [1590 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 293⟩) instead? --Xenwolf (talk) 21:39, 28 November 2021 (UTC)

I'd say it's "Dee leap week", because now that I revisit this and think about it, Iranian calendar practice never implied the existence of leap weeks, only 1L 7s leap day cycle occasionally broken by 1L 8s or 1L 6s. Eliora (talk) 08:49, 17 March 2022 (UTC)

In cases with large EDOs it may not be wholly applicable as the table begins to look unusual. I will use the monzo template as usual, sometimes I just need time to insert it.
Assume the RTT table was what you were talking about, the edo number is only weakly correlated to the total width of the table, and it doesn't have anything to do with how the template works whatsoever. First, the template does nothing but inserting the brackets. Second, the table wraps itself when the it's wide enough. FloraC (talk) 17:01, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
