I think we should by all means avoid the [[Wikipedia:Specials (Unicode block)|Unicode special character]] which is reserved to indicate an encoding error. Using <code>0</code> is much better, even if not ideal (superscript notation is unexpectedly switching from mathematical to linguistic meaning). - Thanks for the clarification, now I see me what you mean. I think we should by all means avoid the Unicode special character which is reserved to indicate an encoding error. Using
