Sure about the correct spelling?

Chalmersia vs chalmersima vs chalmersma. FloraC (talk) 14:40, 26 December 2020 (UTC)

I just know that "chalmersia" is the spelling used on the Huygens-Fokker Foundation's interval list, so this is the spelling used as the title of the article. However, if there are other alternative spellings, or if there is a dispute about these spellings, those factors should be noted in the article. --Aura (talk) 16:22, 26 December 2020 (UTC)

Not really. We both know one of them is the intended name and the others are mistakes. If Scala goes with chalmersia then let's trust it. FloraC (talk) 07:20, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

I am only sure that while one is the intended name and most others are mistakes, the name "chalmersma" in particular has a few other hits on this wiki, and Spt3125 has previously gone on record saying they find "chalmersia" to be a bit odd. Because of that, I'm thinking "chalmersma" at least deserves to be acknowledged by means of a redirect page. --Aura (talk) 10:11, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

I thought it was "chalmerisma" for the longest time, myself. Since it is the smallest 13-limit superparticular, I propose the more evocative and less confusing "mote of chalmers" as an alternative name. --Kaiveran (talk) 08:14, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
