Relevance to xenharmonic music?

I glanced at an automatic translation of the Japanese Wikipedia article linked to on this page, and I wasn't able to deduce why an article about this topic would be required on the Xenharmonic Wiki. The only pages that links here is the Japanese 8edo page and the list of Japanese-language pages. Unless the automatic translation is completely off, the topic seems to be about 8 types of musical instruments, not 8 notes in a scale. Unless these types of musical instruments have a relation to microtonal theory, I don't see why it should have its own page. A direct link to Wikipedia whenever the topic arises on another page would suffice. If no counterargument arises, I might nominate the page for deletion and replace the link on the Japanese 8edo page with a direct link to Wikipedia. Fredg999 (talk) 03:39, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

Update: I realize the page title is relevant, as it means "octatonic scale", but I still don't understand why that Wikipedia article would be linked from there. Fredg999 (talk) 03:53, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

Indeed, the title should be taken to mean the octatonic scale. The Wikipedia article was about something entirely different, so I removed it. FloraC (talk) 07:47, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
