Woodpecker octad

The woodpecker octad, an essentially tempered chord, is the 1-11/10-6/5-13/10-10/7-11/7-12/7-13/7 chord, tempered in the woodpecker ({66/65, 121/120, 126/125}) temperament, which makes the steps of the scale 11/10-11/10-11/10-11/10-11/10-11/10-11/10-14/13. Another way of viewing the woodpecker octad is that it is the woodpecker tempering of two starling tetrads separated by a neutral second which represents 11/10, 12/11 and 13/12 simultaneously.
