Improved tuning for 17EDO?

Should be possible to tune 17EDO better than listed in here -- (25/24)^17 yields 1201.431¢, which is an error of only 1.431¢. Lucius Chiaraviglio (talk) 20:26, 1 January 2025 (UTC)

If you can hear that, yes, although really that makes more sense as a subset of approximating 34edo, produced by tuning up 5/4, down 6/5, etc, until it reaches a near unison after 34 iterations. This is one of the earliest things I did after joining up so there probably is room for improvement and expansion. Yourmusic Productions (talk) 20:35, 1 January 2025 (UTC)

The article on 17EDO even recommends tuning by steps of 25/24, but going up by 5/4 and down by 6/5 would be a good (if laborious) way to accomplish that. Lucius Chiaraviglio (talk) 03:51, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
