Stacked chord vs. polychord

A quick web search of "stacked chord" makes it look like it is often taken as a synonym of polychord, while the definition currently given here is a general term for "tertian chord", "secundal chord", "quartal chord", "quintal chord", etc. I haven't found reliable sources for neither of these two definitions yet, so I'm wondering if we should do something about it on this page to make sure we aren't misleading readers with nonstandard terminology, despite "stacked chord" being a quite intuitive choice for this concept. --Fredg999 (talk) 05:42, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
