Rename to "Gallery of MOS patterns"?

Do these tables not apply to all kind of MOS patterns, including both scales and rhythms and possibly more? I feel like branding this page as a gallery of MOS rhythms hides the important fact that MOS patterns are abstract and can be applied to different musical elements. MOS patterns have general properties which are shared by both MOS scales and MOS rhythms, although these also have specific properties derived from the differences between pitch and rhythm. It seems like a good occasion to display the general properties here. --Fredg999 (talk) 02:56, 18 March 2024 (UTC)

General vocabulary for MOS patterns

How are the indivisible units of a pattern called? Is there a word that could generally encompass the equal divisions of an octave, the equal spacing of pulses within a period of time, or anything else? --Contribution (talk) 09:58, 18 March 2024 (UTC)

I believe "unit" works as a general term for "pulse" (rhythms) and "step" (scales). It's coherent with math vocabulary and it's also easily comprehensible by most people. --Fredg999 (talk) 15:38, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
