Name for this chord

This chord not only occurs as the IImin triad of Zarlino's major scale, but it also occurs as the VImin triad of my preferred diatonic scale. I know its function in the latter environment can be thought of as setting up the stage for further increases in tension, or, it can set up progressions that allow it to unwind. Any ideas for how to name it? --Aura (talk) 03:46, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

To be honest, I don't have a good naming scheme for the chords that mix 5- and 3-limit versions of intervals. (I tend to think of them by position and function, but that's dependent on the specific scale — I would just call this a “ii” when working in Zarlino or the Duodene.)
I suppose one could call it a “grave minor triad”, since it is one the two possible minor triads that forms a grave fifth?
