43ED4 is the equal division of the double octave into 43 parts of 55.8140 cents each (every second step of 43edo). It is closely related to 34edt, but the patent vals differ on the mapping for 13. Using the patent val, it tempers out 49/48, 81/80, and 16128/15625 in the subgroup; 77/75, 176/175, 891/875, and 1331/1280 in the subgroup; 121/117, 144/143, 147/143, 175/169, and 729/715 in the subgroup.
