Linking subgroups

Suppose that a subgroup appears in the text of a page, in this case the 2.3.5.13-subgroup. By MOS:SEAOFBLUE, there shouldn't be two consecutive links, since that would appear as a single link. Using 2.3.5.13<nowiki/>-subgroup produces:

2.3.5.13-subgroup

Is this the best way, or is there a better alternative? --Overthink (talk) 04:31, 26 March 2026 (UTC)

I don't think we can stick to MOS: SEAOFBLUE on our wiki, and not sure if it's even worth trying. That said, the best practice seems to be linking to the subgroup article as a whole: 2.3.5.13-subgroup, provided the article exists. —FloraC (talk) 10:36, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
