Removed name because it violated the temperament naming convention against potentially confusing names, which can reasonably be applied to intervals too. Kept mention of the old name because "temperament naming" advises to do that unless the old name is offensive.

It is unlikely to be related to the [[maja]] temperament, which takes a lot of generators to reach a similar interval. It was added to the [[gallery of just intervals]] by the user Nickname2 in July 2016. This might have been the first time the interval was described, in which case Nickname2 would also be the one who named the interval.

The editor who first added 51/41 to the [[gallery of just intervals]] in July 2016 labelled it as the "maja third"{{idiosyncratic}}.  
 
This name is not used by anyone else due to its potential for confusion with "major third" (the [[interval region]] which includes 51/41 as well as more common intervals like [[5/4]] and [[81/64]]) and the "[[maja]] temperament", a temperament which is unrelated to 51/41.
