Rename Gamelan Temperament?

It seems I've stumbled onto a controversy about calling Gamelan temperament "Gamelan" due to the existence of Gamelan as a distinct Non-Western cultural style that has been around since the 8th century. What should we do? --Aura (talk) 19:37, 10 July 2022 (UTC)

Altho I don't consider it a problem, a quick way to get rid of the current name is to port back the 11-limit extension portent to the 7-limit. Another way is to derive the name from the comma (gamelismagamelismic). FloraC (talk) 20:05, 10 July 2022 (UTC)
