: Since there are no category-related conventions so far, to my knowledge, I tried to get this as coherent as possible by looking at the existing stuff, but it's still a work in progress. For instance, I don't know much about step-nested scales, but if it turns out that they are always tempered, then that could become a subcategory of tempered scales. :: Thanks so much for the clarification. The tiny part I totally missed is the change from ''Category:Tempered scale'' to ''Category:Tempered scale'''s'''''. BTW, I think it could be better to leave the old variants to mark them as deprecated and point to the category to use instead (→ [[:Category:Deprecated categories]]); this is because categories don't have a useful redirect equivalent. --[[User:Xenwolf|Xenwolf]] ([[User talk:Xenwolf|talk]]) 05:47, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
