[[Bryan Deister]] has used the following layout, as demonstrated in [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/1Ai__APev5M ''microtonal improvisation in 61edo''] (2025), inspired by the [[Valentine]] version of the [[Lumatone mapping for 31edo]], but with a different idea how to use Valentine, so that the color scheme in the demonstration video has runs of 14 (rather than 16) keys in a row of the same color, except for solid dark blue keys being in groups of 5 (this scheme being chosen to favor easy visibility of major and minor thirds rather over outlining the [[15L 1s]] or [[1L 14s]] scale). Unlike the 31edo mapping that inspred this one, octaves are in an alternating pattern of near/far and middle with a slight overall upward slant, but all notes are still represented at least once; the range is just slightly over 3 octaves (not counting some gamut fragments in the upper left and lower right corners).

There are many conceivable ways to map 61edo onto the onto the Lumatone keyboard. Only one, however, agrees with the Standard Lumatone mapping for Pythagorean.

However, neither it (patent val) nor the flat fifth (b val) are able to cover the full gamut of every octave, with both having some skipped notes.

Diatonic

If not for the problem of failing to cove the complete gamut (such as on a hypothetical XL-size Lumatone having at least 305 keys within the span of five octaves), the sharp version would be a respectable mapping for Quasisuper; while the flat version would be a respectable Deeptone mapping.
