Nicepent (2L 1M 2s) is a 5-note maximum variety-3 scale. It is also chiral, which means that there are two distinct variations of the scale, left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH). The name was suggested by Fitzgerald Lee as it is the precursor to nicetone (3L 2M 2s) and a pentatonic scale. The first edo that supports it is 10edo, followed by 12edo, 13edo and 15edo.
Nicepent can also be tuned as a 5-limit JI scale where L = 6/5, M = 9/8 and s = 10/9.
