| Interval information |
24167/24000 is a small comma in the no-sevens 13-limit. It is the interval in which a stack of three 13/10 tridecimal semisixths exceed one 12/11 undecimal neutral second plus an octave.
Previously known, but unnamed, Budjarn Lambeth named it the shark cage comma in 2024. If you convert the digits of 24167 and 24000 into letters, where 0=A, 1=B, etc., you get CEBGH CEAAA, which is an anagram of “a beach cage”. That inspired the name of the comma.
