Graham Breed is a software engineer, English teacher, and one of the architects of the regular mapping paradigm, to which he gave that name.

The breedsma and breed temperament are named for him, as well as the term breed designating a specific type of val which defines an equal temperament.

Original music theory

Graham's Intonation Information web site features a number of original music theory articles, including some of the first to employ vals.

Temperament finder

Graham created the online temperament finder. For a description of a use-case, see Creating Scala scl files for rank two temperaments.
