In my view, this (sub)minor third sounds very calm and consonant. What do you say? --Xenwolf (talk) 08:32, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

: Do you believe you hear it as anything different from 7/6? They are under 5 cents apart. FloraC (talk) 10:08, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
:: It seems so. I do not concentrate on the size difference between 62/53 and 7/6, ~4.7 cents, which I'm not really able to hear, but on the "timbre". It's of course hard with these unstable sounds. (BTW: I'm sure we need to do something with the sound examples!) The simultaneous sounds at the end of the two sound examples (after the attack phase) differ slightly, I think I can actually perceive that there. Can you confirm the same about yourself? --Xenwolf (talk) 10:44, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
::: I can hear the beats using a sustained triangle wave with very, very careful listening. That's all I can conclude. FloraC (talk) 13:16, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
:::: Thanks so far for your effort. I really have to do more tests myself. Well, (de-clicked) static (triangle, sawtoth) waves would be more safe than Karplus-Strong-generated Pluck sounds. --Xenwolf (talk) 13:32, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
