The comma (punctuation) is pronounced "add"

Why not just writing out "add"? Starting with a comma (punctuation) doesn't look right to me. FloraC (talk) 07:40, 15 November 2024 (UTC)

Chord names should be as concise as possible, to fit on the score. Starting with a comma does look odd in these lists, but looks much better in practice when preceded by the root, e.g. C,~7no5 or II,~6,9no5. --TallKite (talk) 22:34, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
