MOS scales
Three things:
One, some of the MOS scales are nothing of the sort. 4333334 is not a MOS, as it has three two-step intervals (6, 7 and 8).
Two, some of the ones that are MOS scales are repeated. 54554 and 54545 are just two modes of the same scale.
Three, 6L 5s, 9L 5s and 6L 11s are all referred to as Palestine, but with no explanation as to why. Is this a reference to Charlemagne Palestine, to a Palestine temperament, or to something else entirely?
- Good question. Looking at the edit history, they've been here since 2010, before most of the other stuff and never got revised and reorganised by generator and temperament like most other edos. That section could probably do with a complete rewrite to bring it in line with current standards. Yourmusic Productions (talk) 02:51, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
