The nonary comma is a medium-sized 7-limit comma which is the difference between 27/25 raised by eight octaves and ten 7/4s, as 28(27/25)/(7/4)10 = 7247757312/7061881225. Tempering it out leads to the nonary family of temperaments.
Fitzgerald Lee named this comma “nonary” as the temperament is generated by a 9/8.
